Our client a major emergency vehicle equipment supplier required a secure online database system to enable their customers to configure custom vehicle lightbars to meet their needs.
The system needed to produce a customer order, a calculated price, a bill of materials and production drawing for their manufacturing plant. The system also needed to link with their business database system.
Specific website design features
Our client is a major manufacturer and installer of mezzanine floors. To cover the whole of the UK they work with partners in different regions. Each partner has particular areas of specialisation.
Their requirement was for a search facility on their website to enable their users to find the right partner to work with. The user could either click a region on the map or use the search boxes. The system also logged which partners were visited into an online database with web interface.
